I attended Robyn's fundraiser for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief in February of 2005. The event was beautiful and well planned with wonderful food and great entertainment. Not only was the event a fun time for everyone, but she set up a great live and silent auction with fantastic prizes. Robyn raised a ton of money for charity without an ounce of pressure, and made sure everyone had an incredible night.
One of Robyn’s strengths is that she is agile on her feet (I'm not talking about physical agility), she comes up with great strategies, has a soft, engaging touch, and a quick creative mind. Her resourcefulness is a great asset.
Robyn single-handedly managed the relocation of our office from Charlestown to Harrison Ave last year. This included identifying space, designing the floor plan, negotiating contracts with the landlords as well as the movers, working with our corporate attorneys and CFO, supervising and coordinating the move with both the staff and contractors, and organizing the production room and filing systems to maintain a functional flow in the office. Most impressive, Robyn had only four weeks to accomplish these tasks from the signing of the lease to the move date. The move came in under budget with no major hitches. It was a crowning accomplishment. I have worked with Robyn Beliveau on and off for 17 years and in my experience I have never know a person more organized and detail oriented. Whatever the task or event, Robyn has risen to every challenge and overcome any obstacle she has encountered. She pays attention to every factor in every job, however large or small. Time and time again the outcomes have been incredible!
Anyone who has had the privilege of working with Robyn has been inspired by her talents, ideas and dedication. I have no doubt that anything undertaken by her will yield only the best results. In the thirteen years I have known Robyn Beliveau, she has helped me to coordinate and cater many of my gatherings. The events have ranged from barbecues, pool parties, Holiday gatherings and Halloween costume parties. Regardless, if there were only 20 people or 200, I was never concerned because Robyn’s professionalism, reliability and attention to detail always assured me everything would run smoothly. Robyn Beliveau is the first and last person I call, and recommend, for any event, when I or friends need assistance catering and planning.
It has been my experience having been involved in several events that Robyn has planned, that of the many traits that she brings to the table with her, she first and foremost brings with her the quality that I most look for in any person that I need for any kind of important project. She makes it as personal to her as it is to the client. When you have someone like that on your side, you without a doubt, and without fail, get more than your moneys worth. It has been my pleasure to work with Robyn Beliveau on several events. Being a chef & a caterer, I have had the opportunity to work with several event planners and I have to say Robyn is one of the best. What I like about Robyn the most is she puts 100% into her clients needs & executes each function with grace & ease. She is extremely detail orientated, and not only takes care of her client and guests but also make sure that all the pieces of the event are carefully put together to ensure the function runs flawlessly. I would highly recommend An Uncommon Affair for any gathering! On a more personal note, I asked Robyn to help me raise money for the 3-day Avon Breast Cancer Walk when I found out my Grandmother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Not only did she raise triple of the required amount in a short period of time, she also decided to commit herself to walking with me, now that’s dedication! |
